A business partner can have more than one template — sibling variants cover partners who send from multiple systems. A template becomes Proven the first time a reviewer approves a document it read.

Customer templates are keyed on the sending email address. Vendor templates are keyed on the business partner, because vendor documents are often forwarded and the sender is not the vendor.
